Redundant  Remote  I/O  Rack

The openLOGIK redundant remote IO racks are available in a dual redundant configuration. This consists of two communication processors installed in the same backplane. In addition to the communication processors up to sixteen (16) IO modules can be installed in the backplane. These IO modules can be configured as individual IO modules or configured as redundant IO modules. The built in separate communication paths for each IO module provides redundant communication paths for communication to each remote communication processor. There can be up to eight (8) remote IO expansion racks for additional IO module capability. Each redundant remote IO rack has an option for Profibus DP, DeviceNet slave communication if desired.
