Isolated Analog Current Inputs
:

The DAQPAK series Isolated mA Input Modules are multi-channel 16 bit A/D converters with built in 1000 Vrms Electrical Isolation and Signal Conditioning. The 4 MAi16-20i offers 4 individual Triple Isolated channels while model 2 MAi16-20iP has 2 individual Triple Isolated channels as well as 2 Isolated Output Power channels for supplying power to the Transmitters (sensors). Each of these power feeds provide from 16 to 30 VDC with 1000 Vrms Isolation and can withstand continuous shorting with no damage.

The sampling rate of 50/60 Hz is the default setting in order to take advantage of the rejection notches in the frequency response, coinciding with the power line frequency and its harmonics. However, it is possible to sample at higher rates as an option. All channels convert synchronously. Calibration and identification parameters are stored in the DAQPAK on EEPROM. Each DAQPAK is hermetically sealed and there are no potentiometers or other mechanical sources of error. This results in outstanding long term stability and reliability.


Isolated Analog Voltage Inputs

The DAQPAK series Isolated Voltage Input Modules are multi-channel 16 bit microprocessor compatible A/D converters with built in 1000 Vrms Electrical Isolation and Signal Conditioning. A Sigma-Delta configuration technique is utilized because it is inherently monotonic linear, highly stable and has a one bit output code which can be isolated in an optimum manner.

Low power consumption is achieved by using all CMOS logic. The sampling rate of 50/60 Hz is the default setting in order to take advantage of the rejection notches in the frequency response, coinciding with the power line frequency and its harmonics. However it is possible with the power line frequency and its harmonics.However, it is possible to sample at higher rates as an option.

All channels convert synchronously. Calibration and identification parameters are stored in the DAQPAK on EEPROM. Each DAQPAK is hermetically sealed and there are no potentiometers or other mechanical sources of error. This results in outstanding long term stability and reliability.


Isolated Analog Current Outputs

The Daqpak Isolated Current Output Modules are multi-channel 12 bit D/A converters with built in 1000 Vrms Electrical Isolation and Signal Conditioning. . The 2MAO12-A20i offers 2 individual Triple Isolated channels. The isolated voltage modules provide a maximum common mode voltage of 1000 VDC with up to 1000 Vrms isolation and can withstand continuous shorting with no damage.

Low power consumption is achieved by using all CMOS logic. The sampling rate of 200 KHz maximum ensures integrity of data. All channels convert synchronously. Calibration and identification parameters are stored in the Daqpak on EEPROM. Each Daqpak module is hermetically sealed and there are no potentiometers or other mechanical sources of error. This results in outstanding long term stability and reliability.


Isolated Digital Voltage Inputs

The DAQPAK series AC/DC Logic Input Modules have Eight Isolated Logic Inputs. These Digital modules may be used with any Analog DAQPAK Series modules on the same carrier or system. All channels are isolated from each other as well as from system ground. Input Logic Signals are applied to an attenuator resistance network which determines the logic switching threshold.


Isolated Digital Voltage Outputs

The 8OADC AC/DC Output Daqpaks are eight channels, isolated Solid State Switches. Each channel corresponds to one Switch. All Switches in each Daqpak are isolated from each other as well as from the system ground. Each Switch contains an optically isolated pair of high voltage MOSFET Transistors in inverse series connection. This arrangement enables distortion free control of bi-directional (AC) and DC signals. Their solid state nature allows them to greatly exceed the performance of the best reed and general purpose relays in terms of long life, high speed as well as bounce free operation and low thermo-electric voltages.

Being solid state devices, they are highly resistant to shock, vibration and are not sensitive to position or magnetic fields. Such features allow product improvement and design innovations in many applications such as process control, data acquisition, multiplexing, and automatic test equipment. Low power operation is achieved by utilizing all CMOS Logic.
